Just got back from a great training session at bjj canberra gym. The class was run by a junior instructor but It was very well planned and run. I was really happy with how the instructor who was by himself managed to effectively train a group of thirty students all by himself. During the class we did many drills including escaping bad positions, learning submissions and free rolling all the while being instructed on safe and effective technique. I spoke to the manger of the club after the class and told him what a great job the instructor had done. The boss said he was new to the area but came well recommended from instructors in Sydney.

My New Jiu Jitsu academy called BJJ Sutherland shire has just expanded there class structure which is great for me. They went from just doing two sessions a week to now doing seven sessions a week, The instructor is the same and the classes are the same there is just more of them. The owner of the academy has told me it has been excellent for getting more revenue and members into the club because he has opened up to more classes. It makes sence for him and me, the more classes the more people that can come and the more money his gym can make.

The world cup 2010 is round the corner and every boys summer is about to be the best ever, non stop football on the tv for a whole month but this time is going to be every girls nightmare. I would get saving boys as shopping and an endless supply of money to do other things is gonna be needed.

Is anyone going ? I would love to go out there just for the atmosphere but wondering if it is too late and if i am going to end up paying the earth for flight tickets. Anyway know the best flights to get, i am happy to split the flights I just wanna get there and soak in the atmosphere. Surley if i am there then the girlfriend can nag lol
