When my sister graduated from college with a degree in English, she decided that she didn’t want to follow any normal route. She has always loved to travel, and she decided that she wanted to spend a year teaching in asia. She was very excited as she looked into different programs, and she finally found one that was perfect for her. She has been in Asia for about two months now, she is currently living in a small village in China and she is teaching English at a local school. The kids love her and they’re learning a lot, but not as much as my sister is learning.

I am a self confessed adrenaline junky and I pride myself on having tried a good range of nerve wracking activities in my time. I’ve climbed mountains, negotiated river rapids and even jumped out of planes to get my fix. It may not be your classic thrill seekers destination but next on my agenda is to check out what Turkey has to offer. My sister is getting married soon and I am helping her to make all of the plans.  She is especially excited about planning their honeymoon trip.  She is ecstatic about their Costa Rica honeymoon.  I am so excited for them.  I hear that it is really beautiful there.  We found a really reasonable package deal and it sounds awesome.  It feels like we have so much to do to get everything ready.  I hope that it all comes together and that she has a fairy tale wedding.  She deserves to be happy and I think that she has found herself a keeper.

My partner and I recently purchased a business by the great lake and have been looking in to joining the taupo accommodation group as we think there may be some good benefits to be involved an organization that promotes the industry in the region. Previously we were in the same industry overseas and belonged to a similar group and that proved to be a very useful tool. We have already met with some of the members and they have nothing but good things to say about their onvolvement with it all, so we figure it might be a good way to go.
